Situated on a quiet street in the vicinity of the center. Close to public transport and sights. Not far from the seafront promenade. Quick lift. Spacious room with quite high ceilings and comfortable beds. Air conditioning, refrigerator and large TV. Bathroom was large enough with the proper equipment. Breakfast delicious and rich enough. Payment was efficient. Service was very helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Gabriele.

The total experience was very pleasant, I couldn't recommend more. The hotel was fancy, and fairly clean, and the location was excellent and unbeatable close to all transport links. I had fine food for breakfast for an additional charge.

Fantastic location. Felt safe and well looked-after. Wonderful friendly staff - not in-your-face but always avaliable and offered eficient service at all levels. Can't mention price of stay, though I think I can get away with saying that 50-60 euros would be, in my opinion, good value. I've stayed in Palermo several times and would definitely return to Mediterraneo. (Chi sa parlare in italiano si sentira' vantaggiato ... )
La prima colazione offre una buona scelta di biscotti, paste e frutti. Ma il caffe' non e' un granche'. Coffee a little disappointing because it's from a machine , but drinkable nonetheless.

Hotel Mediterraneo was a simple but well maintained hotel. The staff at reception was excellent and helpfull. The room in which I stayed was also very good with all electrical equipments in working condition. Bathroom too was very good and clean providing cold/hot water. Breakfast was also very good and started sharp at 7am which was very helpul to me as I had to leave early from the hotel everyday. The problem seems to be with the hotels exterior, It doesent seems like a hotel from outside, just looks like any other building between other buildings. Anyways, it was a wounderful stay at the hotel and proovided value for money..

Good price but then Palermo is good value. Decent location for better end of downtown unless you need to be near the train/bus stations. Very safe area. Handy for shopping and markets. Very nice buffet breakfast. Quiet back street but only 1 minute walk to a main street.
Staff always polite but not overly friendly.

- excellent location, 15 meters from main shopping street, important sightseeing sites and few blocks from restaurant quarter with reasonably priced local food; - free WiFi available in room (you need to get 24h free password from the reception desk each day); - good size LCD TV in room (not that it is important when you go to holidays, but great change from 3" TV's usually available in budget hotels); - decently clean; - acceptable breakfast;
- there is no parking place, hotel garage is not free; motorcycle 6 EUR/day, car 13 EUR/day / not sure how secure is to leave vehicle parked on the street (during my 10 day Sicily tour I never felt threatened despite many online stories I read);

Excellent hotel, wonderful room, plenty of space for four people.
The man at the front desk was a little rude, with no patiency (or at least no kind whatsoever). But he was professional, giving all the requested information.

I had a wonderful stay at a conveniently located hotel in Palermo. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing helpful advice on navigating the city. The breakfast selection was impressive, offering a variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the easy access to sights like Teatro Massimo and the nearby hotels. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in Palermo.

I liked the close proximity to the city centre
not the most up to date hotel, the staff did not mention that they would need to move our car which they did, i did not like someone going into my car without permission, the staff were only helpfull when we asked question but they did not openly divulge the times and place of breakfast and were not that helpful in even getting to the hotel as the street was closed the day we arrived
